outreach Ministry

"For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, 'You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land."
- Deuteronomy 15:11

Helping those in need.

The Outreach Ministry focuses on reaching out to those who are suffering due to homelessness, addiction or persecution. Our leadership groups are tasked with spreading the word of God in hopes of being a light in the darkness for many who are in search of the one savior that can truly bring them to his light.

Homeless Outreach

We intend to go out into the communities and share the gospel and show the love of Christ to the homeless, the needy in our land. To open wide our hands and hearts.
How do we do this?
Most importantly, we pray for minds and hearts to be touched by God. We pray that we would identify with those we minister to. We go out to meet with the homeless population in our communities. We speak with them and share the hope that is found in Christ alone. During the winter season, the church donates winter items. In this way, we are meeting some basic needs and shining the love of Christ. We have resource information on neighboring churches, faith-based organizations, and food banks that provide assistance such as shelters, food, clothing, toiletries, and help programs. We also give out Bibles and gospel tracts. As we share the good news, we distribute what we call 'blessing bags.' These blessing bags consist of toiletries and healthy snacks with water.

Persecuted Outreach

Our purpose is to bring awareness to the Body of Christ about the needs of our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world and the various ways we can offer support through The Voice of the Martyrs, our bridge to the persecuted church. The greatest need and the first request of those who are persecuted is prayer. Other needs include Bibles, letters to those imprisoned for the faith so they will know they are not forgotten, action and medical packs, and donations to support persecution response and equip front-liners.
We need to stand in unity, and as we support our persecuted family, we are doing just that.

"Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also."

HEBREWS 13:3

"And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."

1 CORINTHIANS 12:26

"For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,"

2 CORINTHIANS 9:12
