Homeless Outreach Ministry

For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall [a]open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’
Deut 15:11

OPEN HAND HOMELESS MINISTRY

Deuteronomy 15:11
For the poor will never cease from your land; therefore I command you, saying.

‘you shall  open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’
we purpose to go out into the communities and share the gospel and show the love of Christ to the homeless,

the needy in our land. To open wide our hand and hearts.
How Do We Do This?
Most importantly we pray for minds and hearts to be touched by God.  We pray that we would identify with those we minister to. We go out to meet with the homeless population in our communities. We speak with them and share the hope that is found in Christ alone. As we share the Good News we distribute what we call “blessing Bags”. These blessing bags consist of toiletries and healthy snacks with  water. During the winter season the church donates, winter items. In this way we are meeting some basic needs and shining the love of Christ.
We  have resource information on neighboring churches, faith based organizations, and food banks, that provide assistance such as shelters, food, clothing, toiletries, and help programs. We are also give out bibles and gospel tracks,.

Persecuted Church
ministry

Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.
Hebrews 13:3

Persecuted Church Ministry
Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10
Our purpose is to bring awareness to the body of Christ,  the needs of our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. And the various ways we can offer support through the Voice of the Martyrs, our bridge to the persecuted church.  And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. 1 Corinthians 12:26a The greatest need and the first request of those who are persecuted is prayer.  Other needs are bibles, letters to those imprisoned for the faith, so they will  know they are not forgotten.  Action and medical packs, donations to support persecution response and equip front liners.
We need to stand in unity and as we support our persecuted family we are doing just that.   For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgiving to God.  2 Corinthians 9:12
